* Ensure that site operate in a safe manner and comply with the project safety policy.
* Liaise with Main contractor‘s safety manager regarding safe work environment required at site.
* Monitoring and guiding safety officers/ inspectors at site.
* Ensure that safety induction and tool box talks are carried out.
* Carry out regular and random inspection on the site and record results.
* Compile and record safety statistics.
* Maintain the necessary Safety related records.
* Develop and implement safe systems of work for the project in conjunction with the Project Director/Construction –in-charges
* Ensure risk assessments have been carried out for work activities.

| Profile | Qualfication & Experience: Diploma in Industrial Safety with minimum 6yrs of relevant experience as Safety Officer.
