Job Description Primary Areas of Responsibility: Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
• Develop detailed plans and 3D models showing arrangement of walls, dividers, displays, lighting and other fixtures using computer-assisted design (CAD) software and graphics software
• Develop plans, elevations, cross sections and detailed drawings, and advise on selection of colours, finishes and materials, floor and wall coverings, interior and exterior lighting, furniture and other items.
• Creates functional and aesthetic designs that help boost productivity, attract clients, or enhance a live/work space.
• Develop design schemes, materials boards to clients in order to ensure satisfaction; makes revisions as necessary.
• Develops presentations and related specification documents.
• Researches, interviews, and negotiates with vendors to obtain prices and product/ materials specifications.
• Responsible for organizing and maintaining products/ material library.

Profile Job Requirements/ Minimum Qualifications:
• Must have at least a Bachelor of Interior Design, Architecture or equivalent.
• Experience working with residential, commercial, mixed use and hotels projects preferred.
• Skill in space planning, interior detailing, furniture design & specification, Proficient in AutoCAD /Revit Architecture, Photoshop, Sketchup, and 3D interior design & rendering.
• Must have good taste in choosing aesthetics, colors, furniture and other important details in interior designing.

 Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to communicate design concepts visually and through oral presentation
• Knowledge of interior materials and finishes
• Ability to work well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines.
