| Job Description | Planning 1. To produce the division’s annual strategic plan including the market condition, market intelligence reflecting the activities of the Division’s competitors, and brand positioning in agreement with the Managing Director and in coordination with the Division Manager. 2. To produce the division’s annual sales and profit budgets in agreement with the Managing Director and in coordination with the Division Manager. 3. To plan and source out profitable brands of related products and study its introduction and marketability in existing and future market. 4. To coordinate with the Division Manager for sales planning, product distribution and promotions. 5. To prepare a Sales Forecast and Expenses Budget on a quarterly basis in liaison with the Division Manager that would be submitted to and approved by the Senior Management. 6. To plan for an effective motivation of the Sales Executives by enhancing their knowledge and skills through organizing in-house or out-sourced training sessions and organized interaction. 7. Prepare analytical marketing studies that examine the Division’s current market share and suggest methods of increasing its market share in all Office Equipment segments. Organizing 1. To ensure that the division keeps within annual operating budgets 2. To be able to prepare a model of presentations, sales proposals, and demonstrations 3. To organize product promotion in coordination with the approved budget and in agreement with the Division Manager and Managing Director 4. Recommend changes in the division’s organization when required Directing 1. To direct and control the division’s staff towards achievement of sales and distribution targets 2. To see to it that day-to-day operational activities are being supervised to meet the division’s organizational goals and objectives. 3. To supervise and constantly monitor the sales achievement of the Sales Person. Controlling 1. To ensure that overhead costs are kept to a minimum 2. To ensure that sales staff are meeting their sales targets 3. To ensure that staff comply with company policies and procedures Operating 1. In-charge of the day to day sales of all the division’s range of products and services. 2. To keep the Division Manager and Managing Director fully informed of market prospects and opportunities. 3. To undertake competitive and market surveys, as and when required, to aid brand and market planning and keep the Division Manager and Managing Director advised in every instance. 4. To supervise ordering and stocking of the division’s products. 5. To supervise and organize after sales follow-up in coordination with the Sales Executives. 6. To undertake participation of the Company in government and private tenders. 7. To build-up positive customer base through optimum coverage of the market. 8. To launch strategies for new customers and clients in complete liaison with the Division Manager and the Managing Director. 9. To prepare and submit the division’s weekly and monthly report. OTHERS 1. To exercise all efforts in the upkeep of all Company’s trade matters and protect its business. 2. To adequately understand and implement the policies of the Company 3. To promote a mature and supportive role towards all colleagues working within the organization. 4. To promote a high level of positive and healthy inter-personal relationship 5. | Profile | Business development and control of the sales operations of the Copy City – Office Equipment Division, being directly responsible for the achievement of sales and profit targets, observance of stock and credit control, administration, distribution, overheads, related management accounts, reports and adherence to laid down policies and procedures. INTERNAL RELATIONSHIP Close liaison with the Division Manager – Office Equipment Division, Finance Manager and the Administration Manager. EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIP Customers and clients of the Office Equipment Division and related products Principals. Must have an experience in handling different types of photocopy machines |
