Job Description The SAP FICO (Finance and Controlling) Consultant will serve as an SAP Application Functional Specialist, providing application functional support and implementation in SAP Applications R/3, within the module areas of Finance and Controlling:-

FINANCE
Defining organizational elements like Operating Concern, Controlling Area, Functional Areas, Business areas, Company Code, etc.
Creation of Fiscal Year variants, Posting Period variants, Field Status variants, Account Groups, Posting Keys, etc.
Document types and document number ranges
Maintain Foreign Currency Rates, Define appropriate valuation methods and Defined accounts for Realized/Unrealized loss/gain due to foreign currency valuation and automatic posting settings.
Defining the different payment terms as per the requirement
Validations & Substitutions.
Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables
Creating and maintaining AR, AP master records
Defining tolerance groups for Company Code, Vendors, and Customers for payments.
Maintain House Banks, Bank Reconciliation
Treasury management - Cash Management Positions, Liquidity Forecast and Cash Concentration
Integration of FI with CO, MM, SD, PS and PM

CONTROLLING
Cost Element Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Product Costing and Internal Orders.
Cost Allocations, Assessments and Distributions.
Profitability Analysis

ASSET MANAGEMENT
Configured Chart of Depreciation, Depreciation Areas, Depreciation Keys.
Integration of Asset management with G/L
Proficient in settings for Asset acquisition, Asset Transfer, Asset Sales and Retirement.

Profile This individual will help in
Use in-depth consulting skills, business knowledge, and packaged solution expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into the business environment in order to achieve expected business results.
Assists business in the selection, implementation, and production support with best practices and ideas of various business initiatives.
Develop and maintain the configuration and functional design documents and support role based profile changes.
The individual is expected to perform all tasks in the development cycle
a. Liaise with business Heads and Power Users for Requirement Gathering, Documentation, Presentations , Fit Gap Analysis and Buy-ins
b. Design Business Process Solution Maps
c. Configuration and unit testing, assistance and follow-up with user testing
d. Co-ordination of transports to Production
e. Training and post-live support and fixes, etc.
f. Development of functional specifications for forms, reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements, etc.
Experience 5 - 20 years
Education Basic - Bachelor of Commerce ( Commerce ) , PG - Chartered Accountant
