Job Description The Business Development Officer (BDO) is responsible for Business Development for the key specific corridors from the GCC. The role will require the BDO to actively target new customers remitting funds to the specific corridor, and to maintain existing relationships. The BDO will report to the Head of Sales and Customer Service for Bahrain.
•Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the key corridor that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
•Responsible for the performance and development of the transaction growth for the corridor.
•Prepares action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
•Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new marketing opportunities
•Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
•Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
•Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented.
•Maintain excellent customer relationships to promote business referrals.
•Support BFC Group Holdings Marketing Manager in developing and executing the marketing strategies for the specific market.
•Prepare Monthly Business Activities Report and self review with the help of the Head of Sales.

Profile •University education required as a minimum
•Should have excellent communication in English and specific corridor language.
•Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
•Ability to work with MS Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
•High attention to detail.
•Strict work ethic.
•Well presented.
